ZIC Split - 3rd prize for PULS-AR
Pulsar received the 3rd prize award for the creation of an urban-architectural design for the Science and Innovation Centre of the University of Split, after the jury of the public architectural competition brought their decisions.

The total surface area covered by the tender program was 5,569.00 m².

The proposed solution of the ZIC building is placed in the wider context of the campus, thus respecting the most important spatial factors of the location. ZIC is organized and oriented in such a way as to extend its spatial influence to the context in which it is incorporated.

Urbanist gestures are reflected in the spatial organization of the building itself - opening towards the future square and towards the south in the visual axis of the gap/view towards the sea and connecting the wider surrounding into a coherent whole.

In a broader context, the formal design and placement of the building is well-integrated into the matrix of the existing campus construction, while at the same time, transparency and accessibility are taken care of in the same proportion, thus reflecting the scientific, progressive character of the future ZIC.
