About the Investor: Solektra, based in Čakovec, specializes in the construction of solar power plants. To date, they have successfully commissioned over 400 solar power plants with a total capacity exceeding 35 MW, establishing themselves as a reliable partner for those who recognize the benefits of investing in renewable energy sources. With around sixty employees, Solektra has positioned itself among the leading companies in the Croatian photovoltaic industry. About the Project: Given the growth in business volume, Solektra expressed the need to create a comfortable and inspiring workspace for its employees. In this context, they contacted us with a request to develop a project for the reconstruction and extension of an existing mixed-use building. Our goal was to provide a work environment that fosters creativity and productivity among employees. In the first phase of the project, we successfully renovated the office spaces in the attic, created a shared workspace that face the street, and designed offices with a terrace facing the courtyard. To achieve optimal functionality, it was necessary to raise the existing roof structure, which now features a primary steel construction, while the existing wooden beams were used as secondary support. Both the investor and our team are satisfied with the results so far, but the most important feedback comes from Solektra's employees, who were the primary motivation for the realization of this project. The attached images showcase the transformation of the attic space, illustrating its appearance before and after the renovation.
